McArthurGlen Vancouver honoured at ICSC Canada awards
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport won the Maple Leaf silver award for Design & Development Excellence at last night's prestigious ICSC Canadian Shopping Centre Awards.
Since phase one opened in July 2015, the sophisticated 240,000 ft² open-air design houses some of the world's most iconic fashion brands and features pedestrian-friendly walkways, lush landscaping, outdoor amenities and a variety of dining options.
In the first six months, the destination has attracted more than two million shoppers and was on track to rack up sales of more than CAD 10 million - both about double original projections.
With construction of the 150,000 ft² phase two slated for completion in mid-late 2017, we wish our good friends at McArthurGlen, and especially the outlet's General Manager, Rob Thurlow, continued success!
